We have a 15lb fluffball that has major hairball issues. Our vet suggested using Science Diet Hairball Control wet food, but with 4 cats in the household it is way to hard to control cat food consumption.
We opted to try this hairball remedy instead. It does significantly reduce kitty's hairball issues. The only "con" is that the gel is a bit runny, so when you put it on your finger, you've got to be quick to get it to the cat (mine will not lick the gel off my finger).
