Our dog's muscles tightened up in her back. The vet gave her an injection of steroid and muscle relaxant with oral muscle relaxant. She also prescribed Vetri Disc of which we were suspicious. We did a little research on the product and found out there have been reliable studies done with equine (horses) that have shown demonstrable improvement in spinal problems with chondroitin. We went ahead and gave it to our dog and we don't know if it was the product or just time healing but we have become believers and have continued to administer it- sprinkled on her food- two capsules daily (total 400 mg.).
