I have a golden retriever who was an angel with these and isn't the greatest with a toothbrush. However, my chocolate lab was petrified of the gloves. I suggest putting gloves you have at home on to see how your dog reacts with gloves in his/her mouth before buying these. If all goes well, then your dog should be receptive to these.
