This cone is excellent! I have a 13 year old australian cattle dog who chews her feet constantly. We have taken her to the vet numerous times, and tried medicine, shots and even different foods to no avail. It seems to be a behavior problem, so the only thing that keeps her from chewing on her feet is a cone. The clear plastic cones she had off in a manner of minutes. This soft cone works great, and she cannot get it off. I highly recommend this cone. The large is borderline too small, so if you have a dog that is over 50 lbs, go with the x-large.
