Chlorhexidine Dosaging Caution
Remember their recommendation of two tablespoons per gallon of water would be equivalent to :
29.5735 ml per gallon of water
as a U.S. Teaspoon is equivalent to 14.7867 ml
or if making a smaller more manageable quantity like 16oz. for example:
would be 3.7 ml per 16oz.
as 8 times 16oz. equals 128 oz.
so 29.5734ml divided by eight also equals the expected 3.6967ml
Also use a plastic syringe so as to properly measure precisely and accurately the amount of chlorohexidine 2% solution to mix into solution.
Some pets might be more susceptible to Chlorhexidine Solution sensitivity; especially if used after a pet dental procedure for example.
Also there are 473ml per 16oz;
so the eight times 473ml gives one 3784ml per gallon
or 3784ml divided by 3.6967ml gives one the capability to make :
1023.6157 pints of Chlorhexidine according to manufacturers dosaging specifications for pets use
Now that is a real steal of a deal indeed(less than 3 cents per pint); just got to be careful not to use to much though.
