We have a phobic dog who's afraid of thunderstorms, tree cutters, teens with basketballs and my wife traveling on business. Our vet recommended this collar. I'll try anything to keep our lovely gentle dog calm and this seems to help. She doesn't tremble and hide in the closet so much, actually, knock on wood, she hasn't had a panic attack since we put it on her.
