Save Feliway Plug-In Refill, 48 Milliliters

Cat Hormone Feliway Refill / B000RI6C7K

OK, we've got this cat who just does *not* stop talking. I don't know why - his sister is quiet as a lamb. And though it has been getting "worse" for the last two years (or maybe it just *seems* like it), it's not a new thing - he's almost six, and the vet thinks he's healthy as can be. He's just *really* fussy, whiny, anxious, and petty - he likes to follow the husband around the house hissing at him. Cute, but not conducive to headaches.

I really don't know that these Feliway packs work - we've gone through three bottles now. When I first bought them, I was praying for a miracle, like our little "problem child" would suddenly be silent, serene, content, and happy. Yeah, no such luck. However...every month and a half or so, he starts *really* ramping up the yowling, and I start saying, constantly, "Baby, what's WRONG?" and then I go check the calendar and it's been over a month since I plugged in the last new Feliway bottle. And, sure enough, the darn thing is empty. So I go another week or two and finally in desperation I order another refill, and then our baby seems to calm down...comparatively...until the bottle is emptied and we go through this cycle again.

So, basically, I think this is helping, but I don't have a lot of before-and-after scientific data to go on. The cat has noisy days and less-noisy days, and it SEEMS like when the Feliway runs out, we get treated to a whole string of noisy days, and when the Feliway comes fresh in the mail, things quiet down a bit. Since I really do feel like these are helping, I'm buying more, but I wanted to share my story - as far as I can tell, Feliway *does* help, but don't expect a miracle.

Buying Feliway Plug-In Diffuser with Refill, 48 Milliliters

I have two cats (both small Devon Rex purebreds) and recently added a temporary housemate with her two cats (large mixed-breed) to the household. And that's where the trouble started.

The dynamics of the various kitty relationships has been interesting and fun to watch -- that is, until one of hers and one of mine started spraying. Neither of them had a history of this behavior, so after making sure there wasn't a physical reason, we decided to try Feliway.

After three months, there is marked improvement on all sides. My little female who has been totally terrified of the visitors is now totally comfortable being out and about with the others, and seems to be taking everything in stride. That's a good thing.

My sprayer - my little male - usually sociable and friendly - actually got worse for awhile, not spraying, but being petrified of the others, and spending most of his time under the bed or under a table in the bedroom. I was beginning to think he would forever be scared of the others, but the second month (when I changed the original bottle for the refill) he came out, and now seems OK. AND he hasn't sprayed once.

My friend's two cats seem to have mellowed out, too. Her big female, the sprayer, hates EVERYONE, but is no longer chasing and hissing at them AND she no longer sprays. And her big male (who looks like a small panther) is totally mellowed out now.

Sooooo ... it took awhile, but all seem to be calming down and getting along a LOT better. I'm totally convinced the Feliway wall unit is responsible, because when it runs low (just before I switch out the empty for a refill), all heck breaks loose and we're back to square one. As soon as the new refill starts working, things settle down.

Obviously, this doesn't work for everyone -- just reading the reviews here shows that there is a lot of variability in individual cats' reactions to the product. There are no guarantees, but depending on your situation, it might be worth a try.Get more detail about Feliway Plug-In Diffuser with Refill, 48 Milliliters.

Buy Farnam Comfort Zone Plug-In Diffuser with Feliway, 48 Milliliters

We have been using Feliway for 3 years now. It prevents the knock down, drag out battles between 2 of our 4 cats. The bully is mellow and his sister is out of hiding. This also was the least expensive place to purchase our diffuser and the refills. I have researched all over the internet. Also, Amazon was a safe and quick way to order this product.Get more detail about Farnam Comfort Zone Plug-In Diffuser with Feliway, 48 Milliliters.
