The first time I tried to give my 18 lb dog these huge pills I cut them into 4 pieces and put them in her food. She picked them out. Then I tried putting them into her snack and that worked for maybe two of the 4 pieces. Eventually I crushed the pills and sprinkled the dust on her food and applied a little water and made a sauce. She ate her food and licked the bowl. After a couple days of giving her two of the huge tabs a day I didn't notice any difference but I decided to give it a week and see if that would help.
